Where do you turn for guidance when you feel lost or stuck? Do you have a trusted source of higher wisdom that you connect to for encouragement and inspiration? My Spirit Guide Will has been an invaluable support system for me throughout my spiritual journey. Sometimes he’s a cheerleader; other times he’s an advisor. Always he’s a friend. We’ve known each other across lifetimes, so he sees my true self beyond my challenges and limitations. As a loving non-physical being, Will resides in a higher frequency in the spirit realm. That means that he can bring compassion, deeper wisdom and a higher perspective to assist me in my struggles. (That’s not true for all non-physical beings. It’s important to develop discernment around whom you connect with.)

Tingling and cool, an old familiar energetic sensation traveled along my spine. The round plastic pointer slowly spelled out a message from my spirit guide Will onto the Psychic Circle oracle board. S......h....... I kept my mind still, patiently watching the words materialize. S...h...o...w...i..n...g.. More than a decade had passed since I’d first used a similar board, the Ouija board, to receive messages from him. That initial experience sparked an intense spiritual quest, triggering major inner and outer changes in my life. Now things had come full circle. “Showing is just as important as knowing.” The message confirmed an inner tug I'd been feeling recently to write a book about my spiritual journey. Will always managed to lovingly kick me into gear. He always told me that my lessons and his messages weren’t meant just for me. Time to speak my truth. Until now, I’d resisted. How presumptuous to think my life was special enough to write about, as if everyone has a story to tell! Wait……doesn't everyone have a story to tell? Actually, they do! Who knows that more than me? As a hypnotherapist, I have the daily privilege of hearing people's incredible life stories - the triumphs, the heartbreaks and everything in between. People come to me with their issue - whatever they want to heal, change, create. The transformation occurs when we begin to unravel the story. Beneath their story is their truth.

When I went through my initial spiritual awakening, I thought, “I have arrived! It’s all sunshine ☀️ and roses 🌹 from this point on.” Weeks passed and yet I wasn’t magically transported away from the stress of my corporate job. If anything, I became more disillusioned from it and confused. I felt like, “Why do I have to waste my time doing this nonsense now that I’ve experienced a transcendent blissful reality?” Silly me, I didn’t yet realize that spiritual awakening is not the end goal; it’s a starting point. Yes - a new world opens up to you. Suddenly you have higher awareness activating and you’re able to perceive your life in entirely different way. It’s a bit like puberty. Others may have tried to describe it to you before but you just didn’t get it. And then Boom! When it happens to you, your life is transformed. It’s overwhelming. You go through an awkward stage where you’re just trying to adjust to all these extra feelings and perceptions. You might try talking to your friends and family and they just look at you like, “What are you on?” Your senses are overloaded and you can bounce from the highest peaks to the lowest depths, moment by moment! It’s both exhilarating and exhausting. And yet you still have to pay the bills.

What happens when we die? This is the eternal burning question that has pushed people to extreme measures like going on vision quests, taking psychedelics, seeking out psychics and shamans, reading countless books, learning meditation AND/or experiencing a Life Between Lives Regression.
